Advance Paging Service
Members at the Patron level and above may request up to three (3) closed stacks items to be paged in advance of a visit to the library, and ready for use upon arrival. Requests must be received at least one week prior to your arrival date. Please make requests as specific as possible with call numbers, collection names/numbers, box and folder numbers, dates of letters, book titles, etc., as applicable. We are, unfortunately, unable to research general requests and have materials ready for use within this time frame.
Advance paging requests can be made by e-mail only. Please send requests to email@example.com. Please include “Advance Paging” and the date of your arrival in the subject line.
A confirmation that your materials have been paged will be sent by return e-mail. If you do not receive a confirmation you cannot be certain that your materials have been paged and will be ready.
We are able to provide this service on a limited basis. It is possible that your request will not be filled because of the number of requests already received for your date. You will be informed if that situation occurs.
