Digital Video Internship
The Historical Society of Pennsylvania is seeking a Digital Video intern to work in the Programs and Services department. This intern will design, film, and edit video(s) that will highlight the rich genealogical resources of HSP’s collection. The video(s) will appear on HSP’s website, Youtube, and/or Vimeo channels. The intern may also be asked to create additional video(s) featuring items from the collection, or as a part of the William Still Underground Railroad Digital History Project. After completion of this internship, he/she will have gained valuable experience in the planning, creating, and editing processes of digital video content.
- Familiar with setup and use of digital video equipment
- Familiar with Mac OS X, Final Cut Pro X and/or iMovie editing software
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- At least 6-8 hours a week, flexible
Interested candidates must submit a cover letter and resume. They must also visit HSP for an interview and pass a background check.
Please note that this is an unpaid opportunity, but HSP is a happy to work with chosen person(s) to arrange internship credit.
