This collection documents numerous members of the Grim, McFarland, Woodbridge, and related families over several generations. In addition to several compilations of documents, letters, clippings, and other general family history materials, there are papers from Katharine Adele McFarland, Helen Fairchild Kinsey, and Helen McFarland Woodbridge, including Katharine A. McFarland's letters from when she served abroad as a Red Cross nurse during the 1920s and a group of transcriptions and original documents pertaining to a trip taken in 1953 by Katharine A. McFarland and Helen McFarland Woodbridge. Other items in the collection include a roll of diplomas; a yearbook, notebook, and photo album, and other miscellaneous materials belonging to Katharine A. McFarland; and a folder of late nineteenth and early twentieth century knitting, crochet, and lace patterns and instructions belonging to Helen Fairchild Kinsey.
