Rebellion
America is a country created by a successful rebellion known as the Revolutionary War. After protests against taxation failed, many colonists turned to the next step: rebellion. This idea of rebellion didn’t die after America gained Independence from Britain. The Revolutionary era and beyond saw many rebellions, mostly over taxation. These issues are complicated and have many different sides, but all include examples of people taking a stand for what they believe in.
