Archival Prints From the Collection

 

Digital scans of items from the Historical Society’s collection are available for sale as high-quality archival prints. There are more than 60,000 historic images in the Society’s online Digital Library. To view and purchase images, visit digitallibrary.hsp.org [1].

Whether you are looking for views of old Philadelphia, stunning photographs, colorful watercolors, or historic maps, the Digital Library has a wide range of unique items to choose from. Prints of historic artwork and manuscripts are perfect for gifts and a unique addition to any home.

The prints are available in various sizes, ranging from 8x10 inches to 24x36 inches. Matte or glossy archival prints are produced in-house at the Historical Society’s Digital Lab on a high-quality Epson color printer. For more information about how to purchase a print, read our FAQs [2].

In additional to physical prints, visitors to the Digital Library can purchase electronic images and licensing services suitable for using in a publication or exhibit. Images are available in various formats—from web-quality to high-resolution.
