The Historical Society of Trappe, Collegeville, Perkiomen Valley, Inc was founded in 1964 as a non-profit educational society to encourage local historical research and publication of the results, promote historical activities in the community, and encourage the preservation of historic sites. The Society operates the Henry Melchior Muhlenberg House and the Andrew Miller - Dewees Tavern Museum in Trappe, Pennsylvania. The Society’s archival holdings encompass about 75 linear feet of materials spanning from 1750 to the present.
