Founded in 1988, the mission of the Montgomery Township Historical Society is to educate people about, and encourage an enthusiastic appreciation of, the history and heritage of the North Penn area with a special focus on Montgomery Township; to promote conservation and preservation of private and public buildings and resources; and to advocate for the use of those resources so as to maintain or enrich the cultural landscape of our community. The Society holds approximately 30 linear feet of archival materials relating to the people, schools, historic properties, and local history of Montgomery Township, Pennsylvania.
