The Springfield Township Historical Society was organized in 1985 with the purpose of researching and preserving the history of Springfield Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, and educating the general public as to this history. STHS collections include numerous photographs of Springfield Township sites, a small amount of Colonial-era tax records, research on the history of various residences and institutions, and atlases and maps from the late 19th through the 20th century.
