https://vimeo.com/82013594

Female ancestors are often the keepers of family traditions, heirlooms, photographs, memories, and records. Finding and identifying them, however, can be difficult since women can lose their surname and property through marriage. In this workshop recorded at HSP on September 17, 2013, Nancy C. Nelson and Carol M. Sheaffer shared tips and advice to help you identify your female ancestors and their family of origin.
