Good news! National History Day aligns with Common Core Standards. This document shows the correlations for Pennsylvania, but can be easily used by teachers in any state that has adopted Common Core.

The Importance of Using Primary Sources with Students: 2013 Beneficial National History Day Teacher Fellow Karalyn McGrorty-Derstine shares her personal experience with the impact primary sources have on student learning.
Accessing Primary Sources at HSP: This video, led by 2012 Beneficial National History Day Teacher Fellow Claire Frosch, provides an overview. of the many resources available for teachers at HSP, including lesson plans, primary sources, publications, and digitized images.
