Wanamaker, second son of John Wanamaker, was a department store mogul in Philadelphia, New York, and Paris.  He was a benefactor of the arts, education, and athletics.  He supported Native American scholarship, and was an investor in early aviation.  He served as Presidential Elector for Pennsylvania in 1916.
