2012 Founder’s Award Live Auction Items

The following items will be auctioned live after the awards ceremony.

Behind-the-Scenes Tour of HSP

Important historical document from post-Napoleonic France

The Liberal members of the Chamber of Deputies wrote to the former Prime Minister Dessoles, urging  him to remain true to the liberties of the French people and their charter of rights. Signing this document are more than 40 Liberal Deputies, including Lafayette, Constant, Lafitte, Manuel, former Napoleon Council of State member the Marquis de Chauvelin, Napoleonic General Maximilien Sebastien Foy, and Casimir Perier. This is an important document in the struggle of France for liberty, and a key insight into the post-Napoleonic era.

Ten weeks of French language lessons at the Alliance Française

Start learning a new language today and take a ten-week session of French classes during the Summer 2012 session (June 4 through August 11.) Group French courses at the Alliance Française’s Center City location meet once a week for two hours, with ten weeks per session. The average course size is six students, with no more than ten students per course. Courses generally take place at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. each weekday, with the exception of Friday when courses are only offered at 5:30 p.m. Must redeem by June 2, 2012.
