In this hands-on workshop we will explore the major genealogy websites—Ancestry.com, FamilySearch.org, FindMyPast, and more—to ensure you understand and are using all the software applications these genealogy resources offer. You will learn search strategies and techniques to find the most elusive records and family members.

What to Expect

In class you will get the opportunity to learn and practice skills on your own computer.

The course has been capped at 40 registrants, allowing for a much more personal experience than other genealogy workshops and seminars. In addition to its educational content, the course offers a social opportunity for registrants to learn and develop as researchers with other family historians and genealogists.
