During this lecture Fred Blum, president of the Jewish Genealogical Society of Greater Philadelphia, shared techniques to track down Jewish ancestors. Blum, a licensed private detective, has been researching his own family since 1998 and located more than 1,200 relatives dating back to 1810 in the United States, Canada, Ukraine, and Israel. He also discussed his work in locating Holocaust survivors for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This genealogy workshop was presented at the Historical Society of Pennsylvania on February 13, 2013.
