On March 29, 2012, Treasures Society members were invited to hear Assistant U.S. District Attorney, Jacqueline Romero, give a unique, firsthand account of the mysterious events surrounding the theft of the rare “1933 Double Eagle” coins and the government trial that won them back nearly 77 years later.
