Need a new way to begin the class period?

2012-02-10 11:52

Each week the Historical Society of Pennsylvania publishes its blog "Question of the Week."  You can find this blog from the home page of our website or on any Education section page.

These questions could be written on your board (or projected via website) once a week in secondary history and social studies classes.  Students could either answer right away or do a little research through the week (but not on HSP's website, of course) to come up with the answer.  Later check out the blog for the answer - and to find back posts of other questions.

What a fun way to learn details of Pennsylvania history and research skills!

Let us know if you try it and how it works!
