StEPs
The Standards and Excellence Program for History Organizations, StEPs is a voluntary assessment program for small and mid-sized history organizations. The program was created by the American Association for State and Local History (AASLH).
Participation in StEPs helps small and mid-sized history organizations gain increased credibility with funders and learn about standards and best practices.
More information about StEPs is available on the AASLH website. History Affiliates members can apply to participate in the program and for scholarships and mentorships to help them complete StEPs. Do you have a question about participating in the StEPs program, contact Prudence Haines by phone 215-732-6200 ext. 243 or by email. Not an Affiliates member? Join today.
