Mentors Help Students with Historical Research and Writing

Wednesday, September 19, 2012

Sixth to twelfth graders are aided in their research by volunteer Student Mentors each Wednesday October through May from 2:30-8:30 p.m. Mentors orient students to HSP, help them find and interpret sources, and generally provide a friendly partner for the sometimes intimidating experience of primary source research.  They are willing to help with any historical research project, including reviewing written work.

There is no need to pre-register to meet with a student mentor. Just ask at the front desk or reference desk when you arrive.

The Student Mentor After-School Program is supported by Enterprise Holdings Foundation.
