To commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of this pivotal era in American history, HSP is producing special programs and publishing blog posts that investigate the major events and themes of 1968. Join us to look at the year’s impact on American culture and politics, as well the as similarities between then and now.
 Civil rights, elections, protest, and police actions: How do we help our students understand how the Vietnam War, the Cold War, and the Civil Rights Movement still affect us America today? This series combines public lectures and workshops, and will discuss ways to turn stories of 1968 Philadelphia into engaging classroom activities. |
